The Short List
Skyline-focused limited-production specials from NISMO, Autech, and Tommy Kaira - plus the standout tuner conversions. The cars that make collectors freeze, the ones that get their own Wikipedia articles, the ones that pass through RM Sotheby's and make the news. Sorted by production count, rarest first.

Data Sources & Methodology
Production counts, engine specs, and market values were compiled from community-sourced catalogs and cross-verified against multiple references. Where production numbers are disputed (NISMO 400R 44 vs 99, NISMO 270R 30 vs 88, M-Spec Nur 285 vs 718 vs 1,000), the most commonly cited figure in enthusiast sources is shown - see SPECIALS-SOURCES.md for the full discrepancy log.
