Every Skyline and Stagea ever built has a VIN. For years, that information was scattered across forums, private spreadsheets, and a handful of private collector databases. The OverRevving Registry is our attempt to put it all in one place — and let the community own it.

What started as an R34-only project has grown: every chassis code, every variant, every production year. The data is built from public JDM registry archives, our own VIN research, and community contributions.

18 limited editions

Every entry has a dedicated page with production data, variant breakdowns, color distributions, and VIN range lookups. Stagea and R35 pages are newest — some of the more granular variant data is still being cataloged.

How It Works

Open the Registry, search your chassis, and you'll see exactly where it sits in the production timeline. Hit Claim on any result to mark a chassis you own as taken, report a data error, or order a custom Car Card.

Every claim goes to a human (us) for review. We verify your proof, mark the chassis as taken, and ship the registry update in the next monthly push.

The Short List — Skyline Specials

A separate catalog of the limited-production specials that make the Skyline world famous. 18 cataloged entries including the NISMO Z-Tune (19 units), NISMO 400R (44 units), Tommy Kaira R34 Z (11 units), HKS Zero-R (4 units), Autech Stagea 260RS (1,734 units), and more. Each one is the rarest version of its chassis — the cars that make headlines when they cross the auction block.

Companion: At The Auction

The Registry is paired with a new gated section called At The Auction — a members-only dashboard of the daily Japanese auction scan. Approved users see live JDM inventory (PCJDM scanner), filter by chassis/year/transmission/color, and get notified when a Short List special hits the auction block. Closed beta for now; open signups coming soon.

How to Help

Found an error? Submit a data correction through the claim form. Tell us what's wrong, what it should be, and where you found the source.

Own a Skyline or Stagea? Claim your VIN and get your chassis marked as taken. Optional: order a Car Card at the same time.

Why We Built It

When the public JDM VIN registries went offline, a lot of the community lost access to VIN data they'd been using for years. People printed registry pages as backup. We saw the gap and decided to fill it.

The Skyline is a special car. The GT-R is a special car. The Stagea is a special wagon. Keeping their history accessible feels like something worth doing.

"If you own one of these cars, or even if you just love them, the Registry is yours. Help us keep it accurate."
